Went in for a meal staff seemed rude. Locals stared at us and they said they weren't doing food .
New owners/tennants. No food until early February. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Looks great inside.
Awful. Had some light bites off the lunchtime menu and they were dreadful. Quiche which was tasteless, sweet potato fries totally overcooked and ham and chips completely uninspiring. It was a shame because last time we called in the food was great, which was why we returned. But I'm afraid we won't be calling again.
Called on our trip from North Wales to Gloucester, nice welcome. Sadly the promised home cooked need and ale pie didn't meet our expectations. The pastry top, although advertised as encased in pastry was barely cooked, the sauce was watery and the meat gristly, chewey and undercooked. Left hungry.
