Dog friendly, poor check in , good welcome, great beer, Very central,

Easy to find. Welcoming. Clean room and bathroom. Reasonably priced. Convenient central town location. Thanks

Overall experience of one-night stay was close to describe it as BRILLIANT! Starting from Best Possible location (just off Train & Bus Station and on the Corner of Town Center), next kind, professional and helpful staff who let me leave my luggage before and after Check-In/Out, than Room itself which was large, clean, with The Best ever seen (according to the class of cheap B&B) facilities, reasonable timings of Breakfast and Check-In/Out to loveble food - again BEST Full English Breakfast ever eaten in such a sort of accommodations. The problem which I (and my Partner as well) had was noizy guests just above us.Well I understand - was youth once as well - that there is not many places to hang out with buddies during the Friday night in Llandrindod but for God Sake! Banging, jumping, fighting, screaming and whatever else possible to do when You are drunk teen. Such a thing should not happen at all in Hotel especially after 12pm! That's not acceptable! Staff should take control in this situation. Hotel is NOT Night Club! Some people who come to area for fantastic outdoor activities are really exhausted after all day out and need proper rest as well, before they back to Mondays work. That's why I had to take off one . Please put attention to that.

Cold, old and smelly. If you want somewhere very, very basic and don't mind feeling like you're staying in a semi hostel rather than hotel, go for it. We turned up, walked up the stairs to the rooms, gagged at the smell (to be fair there was a local dog show and we were told many guests staying had dogs in the room - which may explain the smell but hardly makes you want to stay!) saw the basic room, realised the window was broken and couldn't close - went back downstairs and asked for a refund. Which, again, to be fair was given without fuss. We then had a quick Google and found an absolutely stunning, luxurious B&B 20 minutes away for only 30 more. Worth every single penny and worlds apart. I really wouldn't have been happy to have paid more than 30 for the room here anyway, no way were we staying for 50. Book with low expectations....

Nice friendly staff. Clean ample room, with on suite shower room, TV, kettle and tea and coffee making facilties. Would benefit from a side light.
