Very interesting. ..... if you like cycles
This is an excellent museum run on a shoestring budget yet containing gems of our social history and that of the bicycle. Indeed it is a disappointment that governments are not prepared to support this type of history which without the commitment of volunteers would be lost to us all. The museum is housed in an old but highly interesting retail unit with an extensive collection of bikes, particularly those manufactured in the UK. European cycle museums, as you would expect concentrate on their own national manufacturers, although cycling is by its nature international as this is seen in all the museum's.Definitely worth a visit.
Excellent collection of Bicycles showing the development of the bicycle from the very beginning to the present day. Large selection of cycling medals, Trophies, Medals and memrobialia. Public support is needed to protect this collection
A must for anyone interested in bicycles, leisure cycling and cycle sport. We were lucky enough to be given a very informative guided tour, which I can highly recommend.
Very good, I went with my daughter and nephew (both around 8) and they enjoyed it. Wonderful collection of bicycles through the ages. I even got to see my beloved Grifter! Well worth a visit if happen to find yourself in Mid Wales. Very close to the pretty Llandrindod Wells lake and The Rock Park, the Victorian Spa. Close to the town centre and with parking easy to find.
